Youth ages 8-14 are invited to sign-up for this fun introduction to fishing. Each participant will receive a rod and reel which they can keep. Participants will learn to rig, bait, and cast their lines, and hopefully how to reel in and remove a fish from their hook. Participants must pre-register and should meet behind the park office in Evans Park at 9am on June 10th. Cost is $5 per participant. This event is supported by Colorado Parks and Wildlife.
This class will cover several efficient landscapes watering techniques, including DIY, low cost, and professionally installed irrigation systems.
We will touch upon maintenance strategies, and some low water plants that thrive in Elbert County’s challenging growing conditions.
Cindy Angers, a licensed Landscape Architect, is the owner of EcoFolia Design – a landscape design company focused on sustainable landscapes. Cindy utilizes her knowledge of native, low water, and pollinator friendly plants; and efficient irrigation techniques to create beautiful and sustainable landscapes. She is excited to share this knowledge with Elizabeth area folks.
