Canine Capers Dog Training- Call Park Office to Register
Your Instructor:
Rosemary has been active and successful in the sport of dogs for over 25 years. Her dogs have earned over 80 AKC titles in obedience, rally, conformation, tracking and agility. Rosemary prefers to speak with owners prior to registration to ensure your dog is in the correct program.
Canine Capers programs do not permit aggressive dogs to participate. Pit Bull breeds and pit bull mixes are specifically prohibited from participating. The instructor reserves the right to exclude any dog that she believes may not be appropriate for a class. Bring your dog to class on a collar and a 4 ft or 6ft leash (no retractable leashes, no body harnesses) along with some small, soft treats such as hot dog slices or cheese.

Course Descriptions
Puppy Kindergarten
Puppy Socialization, Owner Q&A, very basic skills, and fun with some beginning agility equipment. (For puppies 3-5 months old) Instructor approval is required.

Basic Beginners Obedience
This course is designed to teach your dog good manners in the form of some basic commands. You will teach your dog to walk on a leash under control without pulling, to sit, lie down, stand, and to come when called. (For dogs 5 months and older).

Rally Courses
INTERMEDIATE OBEDIENCE/NOVICE RALLY COURSE
This course builds on skills learned in Basic Beginners Obedience course. We will cover turns, recalls, stays with distance and distractions, Figure 8 exercise and the finish exercise. We will cover the Novice Rally Signs and we will have fun with Beginner Rally courses.

ADVANCED RALLY COURSE
Building on skills learned in Intermediate, we continue to learn skills for Rally Advanced. Approval by the instructor is needed to register.

EXCELLENT/MASTER RALLY

AKC/ASCA RALLY
Builds on Advanced Rally Skills . Instructor permission is required for this class.
This course covers some AKC Excellent and Master signs and some of the ASCA (Australian Shepherd Club of America) Excellent and Master signs. This class is for dogs planning on competing in upper levels of Rally.
