Dogs are welcome anywhere in the park except on the sports fields or on the splashpad. Please keep your furry friend leashed at all times and clean up after them in all areas of the park. Dog waste bags and containers have been provided by the District for your convenience.
There are two baseball / softball fields in Evans Park and each has lights and a scoreboard. There are also two multi-pitches which are used for soccer as well as football and other activities as needed. All athletic fields are available for public use when not being used or permitted for programs or private activities. To permit a field, contact the Park Office. Please do not use fields when they are marked closed as occasional weather or maintenance may prevent them from being available to the public.
The splashpad offers cool fun throughout the summer with several water spraying features. Please read and follow all splashpad rules posted on site and notify the District of any maintenance needs.
Comprised of metal ramps / rails and a wooden half-pipe arranged on approximately 3000 feet of concrete, the skate park may be used anytime during daylight hours. The District encourages all users to wear helmets and appropriate safety gear. Skateboards, bikes, scooters, and in-line skates are all permitted. Please read and follow all skate park rules posted on site and notify the District of any maintenance needs.
The park trail is a loop of approximately 1/3rd of a mile beginning and ending at Dragonfly Pond. This is an easy stroll for any nature lover that wants to see some of the natural environment within Evans Park. Our trail has beautiful views of the creek valley with picnic tables along the trail and plenty of benches to sit and enjoy the landscape.
The playground in Evans Park features a small play structure for 2-5 year olds as well as a larger play structure for youth 6-12. Swings and a net climb spinner were also added in 2024.
There are two pickleball courts located in Evans Park, just west of the splashpad.
The pond in Evans Park is a small fishing pond stocked with trout annually by the Colorado Department of Parks and Wildlife. Fishing licenses are required, and the pond is regulated by Colorado State Parks and Wildlife rules and regulations. Please be considerate at all times to your fellow pond users. Absolutely no wading or swimming is permitted in the pond. In the winter months please stay off the pond as well due to the potential of thin ice.
The Snack Shack sells common food and concession items during many busy days in the park and is typically open on Saturdays during regular sports seasons.
